In preparation for PACK Expo 2012, Modern Manufacturing Services sought an alternative to their complete product catalog for distribution at the show. To ensure the final deliverable was the best solution based on needs and budget, we conducted a market assessment study. The resulting recommendation was for the design and development of a simple (but professional) marketing brochure to address three items:
- Illustrate the company’s breadth of products and services
Designed to showcase their machines as they relate to customer applications, the manufacturing machines are illustrated with dynamic photography and organized by process category, listing the available flexible packaging machine accessories. - Drive traffic to their website
Limited space in the brochure required some of the minute details be omitted. Throughout the brochure, readers are encouraged to visit the company’s website where a complete catalog of packaging equipment can be found alongside downloadable product configuration data. - Detail the benefits and features of working with Modern Manufacturing Services
The marketing brochure blatantly touts the company’s strategic U.S. manufacturing facility. Prospective customers are encouraged to visit the plant for a tour and current customers are invited to see their packaging machines built and run.
In addition to being ideal trade show marketing collateral, the resulting brochure is also the perfect size, weight and shape, to be economically utilized in a strategic follow-up direct mail campaign targeted at the show attendees.
